Unlimited bandwidth and diskspace are marketing gimmicks that cause trouble for customers and providers alike.
Be sure to closely examine the host's acceptable use policy. Usually, hosts offering unlimited bandwidth will have a clause which allows them to delete accounts that use "too many" network and server resources.
Our bandwidth and disk space quotas are there to protect our customers as well as ourselves. Most of our sites come nowhere near to exceeding their allotments. We allow most scripts as long as they do not use excessive server resources, or have any security holes. CGI forums such as Ultimate Bulletin Board are not allowed, we suggest using a PHP/mySQL forum such as phpBB.
The Matt Wright version of FormMail.pl is banned from our servers due to security holes frequently used by spammers. Please use the secure version available at http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/.
